So much for different. The notion of holding prisoners with out charges and with out end is contrary to everything we are supposed to believe in. And don’t give me the “prisoners of war” bullshit. We were at war with a concept – “Terrorism”, you can argue we are now at war with a movement – “Radical Islam”, but in either case there is no clear definition of who we are fighting or what would constitute an end to hostilities and return these “POWs” to their homes.

I went to go watch Bay to Breakers this year. Seems like a mix between a road race, a parade and a rave.

I can’t do justice to describing this event nor will I try. I will merely point out that I have never before seen 20 lined up porta potties with a go-go dancer on top of each one rocking out to tunes from a float with a DJ and crowd of hundreds dancing along side.
